All performances are priced for a Fifty (50) mile radius from the center of Raleigh, NC. Appearances outside of this service area may include an additional $25 charge per hour of travel.
Anatomy of a Happy Dan Birthday Party
Let Happy Dan relieve some of the burden of hosting! Happy Dan arrives just before your guests and entertains the children as they arrive with 15-to-20 minutes of Hands-on Magic. This frees you to focus on the parents and hosting. This also gives the children (and parents) an opportunity to connect and feel comfortable with Happy Dan.
When the time is right, Happy Dan launches his hilarious interactive 40-Minute Magic Show! Children LOVE it and parents will too! Your Birthday Star will assist in several spots throughout the show, so keep your camera ready!
At the end of the show, Happy Dan gathers your party guests for a colorful Group Photo behind a bright Happy Birthday Banner! Happy Dan and your Birthday Star will then lead the children on a fun Birthday Parade to your cake table!
With the Deluxe Party Package, Happy Dan creates colorful Balloon Sculpture Party Hats for each child as they eat! Your party stays right on schedule! Balloon Sculptures are not recommended for outdoor parties - they simply don't do well in the Carolina Summer heat and pointy vegetation. Popped balloons often result in tears. But, if you want them, we'll twist them!
Parties may be hosted indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). Please check our FAQ Section for details.
Of course, while this recommended format works for most families, your plans may differ. Every party format is flexible to fit your needs and expectations!

OUR GUARANTEE
Your performance reservation is a solid commitment with Happy Dan. He will never leave you stranded at the last minute searching for another entertainer. If he is unable to perform at your party for any reason beyond his control, he will make every effort to secure another top quality entertainer to take his place at no additional cost to you.
OUR INCREDIBLE CANCELATION POLICY
Happy Dan understands that weather and family emergencies don't always cooperate. In most cases, no deposit is required to hold your reservation. If you cancel your party reservation for any reason at least Two (2) Hours before his scheduled arrival time, you owe us nothing. Advance payments will be cheerfully refunded. With Less than Two (2) Hours notice, we ask for a $50.00 payment to cover travel and preparation expenses.

PERFORMER LIABILITY COVERAGE
Happy Dan takes great care in protecting his reputation. During his 40 years of performing, no child has ever been injured or property damaged during one of his performances. But, accidents can and do happen. Happy Dan carries Professional Performer Liability Protection to cover any accidental injury or damage that occurs during his performances. A copy of his insurance certificate is available upon request. Additional Insured Certificates may be provided at $25.00 per issue.
